Stopping the raise of healthcare/other costs from paycheck?

As a staff member at IUPUI for 3 years now, each year I have been deducted even more out of my paycheck. Now, as a 3rd year advisor (and someone that graduated from IUPUI), I am only making $600 more a month than I got paid as a Graduate Advisor. If this continues there will be a point where I will have to look for another job out of the IU system because I will not be able to afford my monthly expensive to live! It is ...more »

Benefits for Staff

PTO half-days

Currently, I have to take a full day of PTO when what I often need is just a half-day. I recommend that staff be able to take PTO in four-hour chunks. It wouldn't cost the university anything, and would make me feel as if I worked in a much more flexible environment that recognizes my need for work-life balance.
